A Bulgarian baker was arrested after serving cocaine-sprinkled cookies to guests at a Greek funeral, news website Novinite reported Wednesday.

Mourners phoned for help after the traditional Greek cookies caused them to act strangely, and police discovered the cookies were sprinkled with cocaine instead of powdered sugar.

The baker, who is a Bulgarian national, was involved in drug trafficking and sent the cookies to the funeral service by mistake, police said.

Police later raided the gang running the cookie operation, and seized 60 kilograms of cocaine.

… as in a post-it art war which has been going on in France between the Ubisoft HQ and a bank across the street since July. And its getting artistic and weird.

Below is some of the action that is going on in France, and some simpler pieces that are popping up at this Tumblr, Post’It War.

Here is the just released letter from Steve Jobs:

PRESS RELEASE: Letter from Steve Jobs

August 24, 2011–To the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple Community:

I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.

I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.

As far as my successor goes, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.

I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.

I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.

Now this the end of an era.

Notice how epic the song is. 🙂 Oh, and the tagline cracked me up: “MACINTOSH-INSANELY GREAT”  =))

Everybody knows the internet is full of cats. It should be called caternet. It doesn’t even matter if they are real cats or cartoons or fiction cats or alien cats :)) Anyhoo, here’s one more proof of that.

Pop music favorites get the kitty cat treatment on the ‘Kitties and Bullsh*t’ Tumblr. Created by Sofia Falcon, the site showcases artwork that uses song lyrics and replaces key words with cat-themed lyrics. As Falcon explains on the blog, “I guess it’s like Al Yankovic, only all about cats.” The illustrations are simple but purrfectly hilarious.

The Vogue Princesses

Dante Tyler‘s mock-up Vogue covers featuring Disney Princesses as glamazonian models is at first funny, then a bit unsettling. With Pocahontas as a fierce Beyonce look-alike and Belle staring smoky-eyed from behind her top five novel recommendations, you have to wonder how far removed the marketing plans for Vogue and Disney really are from one another.

The world’s largest salt flat is located in Salar de’Uyuni, Bolivia. During the rainy season the water turns it into the world’s largest mirror. The reflection of the sky creates a sense of infinity, like you’re walking among clouds.
